Delayed wakeup allows players to vary the time they spend on the ground after being knocked down by their opponent, making it harder for them to be smothered on wakeup. It’s still a fighting game that tends to reward solid and patient gameplay over button mashing and careless offense. Those have played any of the previous versions should be able to jump in with no trouble and more-or-less play it the same way. However, it would be unfortunate for gamers to discount Ultra Street Fighter IV as just another small update to a six-year-old game. The gaming community loves to poke fun at Capcom for releasing updated versions of existing games using adjectives such as “Super” or “Turbo Edition.” Even Capcom joined in on the fun with the title of its latest Dead Rising 3 DLC. Capcom has brought yet another update in the form of Ultra Street Fighter IV. What?! Another version of Street Fighter IV?
